Graduation Milestone

It is that time of year. Time to celebrate graduation from high school and college. Graduation is a major milestone not only for the student celebrating their accomplishments but also for family and friends. Many years of hard work, dedication and sacrifice have culminated in this special day. Not only is graduation a celebration of accomplishment but also a new starting point. Like many milestone events throughout our lives these events celebrate and congratulate us on our hard work but also wish us well and celebrate the opportunities that lay ahead. So, for all you 2011 graduates, celebrate and relish your day in the sun. Congratulations on your accomplishments. Carry your enthusiasm and energy into the world and make your future your own.
Izzy's Invites Is Live!

Izzy’s Invites is up and open for business. Looking back on the effort and time involved it has been a labor of love developing the site and taking it live.
While putting together the web site it became readily apparent the many details, both conscious and unconscious, involved in selecting and laying out a custom invitation order. Many details like artwork design, size, ink colors and font styles could be easily added and selectable by the customer. Other details weren’t as easy to “encode” in selection lists and pop-up windows. These are the details about color coordination, text layout, etiquette, wording and more. It was these details that led to the blog being added to the web site.
I am not the most prolific writer and the thought of writing a blog actually was a little frightening. However, the more details that I wanted to add to the web site the more I realized that quick short bursts of text through the blog were probably the best answer. So, here goes. We hope you will find the entries relevant and helpful in your search for invitations and ordering from us here at Izzy’s Invites. Check back often and also let us know of any topics you would like us to cover or if you find any of our entries particularly helpful, interesting, etc.
