Design Your Invitation

You are hosting an event and need the perfect invitation to set the theme and of course share the details with your guests.  Izzy is here to help!  Our personalized card stock designs can be used for invitations, personalized stationery, greeting cards, return address labels and more.  Follow the steps below to select your design, font, colors and text and then let us do the rest.  You will always start your design process from the product catalog page

1.   Search for your design.

From the Product Catalog you can search by category using the categories listed on the right side of the page.  Select one or multiple categories to narrow your search.  This search requires a design to match on all selected keywords.  Selecting Cocktails and Baby will return zero results.  However, selecting Birthday and Kids will return all designs that have both the birthday and kids keywords, quite a few fun designs in this case.  If you prefer to view all our designs select the Custom Invitations & Stationery link on the left and then view either the Quick Designs or the Color Choice designs.  

2.   Select your design and begin the personalization process.

3.   Enter your quantity.

The minimum order for any size is 10 pieces.  After that you can order any quantity from 11 to 512 or more.

4.   Choose the layout.

Many designs can be printed both horizontal and vertical.  As well some designs change for the smaller card sizes.

5.   Select the card size.

Standard invitation sizes are 6x9, 5x7 and 4x6.  Additional sizes can be used for matching thank you notes, treat stickers or return address labels.  Greeting cards can be printed on the 5x7 folded cards with the design on the front and text inside.

6.   Check your price.

Pricing will show based on your card size selected and quantity.

7.   Pick your Design Colors.

If you selected a ColorChoice design, which allows you to change the artwork colors, you will see a rectangle with 2 smaller squares inside.  Think of this as a set of paint chips to view your artwork colors together.  Click on the links above for each color to change the colors of the paint chips and select the colors for your design.  The 3 colors equate to 1-background, 2 & 3-artwork colors.  Refer to the white/gray/black sample image for the color reference key.

8.   Enter your text, select your font, text color and alignment.

Main text refers to the largest text area available on the card.  Emphasis text is 1 to 3 lines of text within main text that you want to be highlighted.  Some designs have a smaller area for additional text.  This area will be highlighted in one of the sample images.  Text for this area should be input in the secondary text field.  Each type of text can have its own font, color and alignment.

9.   Attach your photo(s).

If the selected design is a photo card, browse on your computer for and select your photos for upload.  Check out our design tips for photo requirements and tips.  Also, remember that professional photographs are copyrighted and you must have authorization to reproduce photos you upload for printing.

10.   Add to cart.

Once you have entered all the information add your selection to the shopping cart and finalize your purchase.  We will take it from there, completing the design and layout to your specifications.  A full color proof will be emailed to you within 24 hours.  The proofing process continues until you are satisfied with the layout and colors.  Upon proof approval we will print your cards and ship them out within 24 hours.
